Frequently Asked questions
What are your booking policies? Dates and time slots are only reserved with a $50 non-refundable deposit and signed service agreement/contract. Full payment is due upon arrival at the event.
What brands of paint do you use? The brands I use are: Snazaroo, DFX, and Kryolan. All are FDA approved and are designed specifically for use on the face and body.
What are your hygiene practices? All of my brushes and sponges are cleaned and sanitized after each event. A clean sponge and brush is used on each person or 1 sponge per color. No one with a visible skin condition, open sores, blisters, or rashes are painted. My work surface and supplies are clean and well kept throughout the event.
I'm not sure how much time to book. As the saying goes, "Better safe then sorry!". I can only paint within the contracted time frame. Please consider the average paint times when booking. Overtime, (if available) will be charge at $35 per half hour.
Is there anyone you will not paint? I will not paint anyone with open wounds, skin infections, dirty or sensitive skin. I will not paint anyone who is unwilling to be painted.
Do you carry insurance? Yes, I carry full liability coverage. Proof of insurance coverage is available.
What happens if my guest arrive late? Often I have more then one event scheduled per day so staying on schedule is very important. I will arrive and depart at the time agreed upon in your contract. If available I can stay at my overtime rate of $35 per half hour.
How do I book a party? Please contact me to confirm if your requested date is available. If your date available I will mail/e-mail a contract to you. Upon receipt of your signed contract and deposit your party is booked. Deposits can be made with cash, check, money order, or Credit Card via Paypal.
What forms of payment are accepted? I except cash, Money Order, Check, Credit Card & Paypal payments. Cash payment required for final payment.
I need to cancel my party. Your deposit is non-refundable and cannot be returned. In the event of an emergency or illness I will gladly reschedule your event for another date.
How far in advance do I need to book my event? During peak seasons I am often booked months in advance. To avoid disappointment book you event as soon as you have confirmed the venue, date, and time. All that is needed to book your event is a $50 deposit and signed contract!
What type of designs do you paint? I paint the usual designs butterflies, tigers, princesses etc. Additionally, participants aren't bound by the designs offered on my design sheet. They can request any design their imaginations allow!
How many faces can you paint per hour? Typically I can paint 10 - 12 full face elaborate designs per hour.
Do you offer any other services? Actually I do. I'm an experienced event decorator and makeup artist. Feel free to contact me regarding any additional services you may need. Not only do I have a ton of creative skills I have connections with dozens of other service providers. Just ask!
