![]() Everyone loves the sparkle and dazzle that glitter provides. But everyone doesn't know that some glitters should not be used on the face OR skin. Professional painters use professional products and this includes glitter. Glitter used for face and body art should be a maximum of .008 microns and made of polyester, this is the FDA approved size. Metallic or craft glitters should never be used on the skin and face. Often these glitters contain glass fragments that can damage the eyes and skin.
